A customer reads a card number to your agent, who takes the payment while Aircall records the call. That recording now contains the customer's full card number, and anyone who can play the call can hear it. Asking agents to pause the recording works only when the agent remembers. Aircall can hide the number in the written transcript, but the number is still audible in the recording.
The note usually appears less than a minute after the caller hangs up.
Each call gets its own link. The first time you open one, CallTutor asks for your email address and sends you a sign-in link. Only email addresses that belong to users on your Aircall account get a link. After you sign in once, the links open directly for 30 days on that browser.
Voicemails get the same treatment. CallTutor cleans the voicemail, stores the clean copy, and removes the original voicemail from Aircall.
Aircall will not make its own transcript for calls that CallTutor handles. CallTutor deletes the recording within about a minute of the call ending, and Aircall has nothing left to transcribe. The CallTutor transcript takes its place, with the card number masked.
CallTutor costs $9 per agent per month. The first month is a flat $9 for your whole account, however many agents you have. After the first month, we count the agents who took a call during the month and bill $9 for each of them. You do not pay for agents who took no calls. Stripe, the company that handles the card payment, sends the receipts. Aircall does not charge anything for connecting CallTutor.
